Drive

Initial Task

For my movie project, I chose the movie drive. As it was one of the suggestions I didn't want to pick it at first due to it being an obvious one, but as I have seen it a million times and would consider it one of my top 10 of all time, I did it anyway. I love the film as a piece of entertainment, but I have even been known to watch it with the sound off and my own music on, just because it is such a beautiful example of cinema. I decided upon the opening credits of the film to draw for my 18 frames, as I think it sets up the character and theme for the movie extremely well, and utilises cinematic devices such as lighting and viewpoints in an incredibly effective way. It is about 10 minutes long altogether, but I'm only managed to find two shorter clips to include on here. Enjoy!
